Our Family

As a small, locally owned business, our employees are our family, and we believe that having happy, well-cared for team members allows us to take phenomenal care of your pets. We look forward to getting to know you!

Dr. Lindsay Karpinski

Dr. Karpinski grew up in Northern Virginia and obtained his undergraduate degree in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University in 2007. He has been a veterinarian full time in Roanoke for the past 7.5 years prior to founding Keagy Village Vet Hospital with Dr. Cordle. He is proud to share both a first name and a wonderful marriage with our office manager, Lindsay. He is particularly interested in the diagnosis and management of endocrine, dermatologic, and gastrointestinal disease in addition to a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries. Dr. Karpinski has had greyhounds for most of his life and is proud to have become known as one of the most greyhound savvy vets in our region. He also prides himself as a connoisseur of fine bourbon.

Dr. Jessi Cordle

Dr. Cordle is from Crozet, VA and graduated from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She lived and practiced in Panama City, FL, and the suburbs of Boston, MA before finally making it back home to the gorgeous Virginia Blue Ridge in 2015. She has special interests in feisty cats, keeping aging pets healthy, and anything to do with the nervous system. Outside of KVVH, she enjoys bottle raising foster kittens, hiking, and travelling with her family. Dr. Cordle lives in Cave Spring with her husband, two sons, and a lively assortment of dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and fish.

Lindsay Karpinski

Lindsay is originally from Wisconsin, and spent her teenage years in Franklin County, VA before moving to Roanoke as an adult. She has a degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech and has previously worked locally as a kennel assistant, veterinary technician, and office manager for the past decade. Lindsay can usually be found snuggling visiting pets (she has a soft spot for Boxers) or keeping KVVH running smoothly. She enjoys travelling and creating an assortment of delicious baked goods. Lindsay and Dr. Karpinski have two greyhounds, a puggle, and two cats, and they welcomed their first human child in Fall 2020!

Courtney

Courtney was born in Woodbridge, Virginia, and moved to Roanoke in high school. She has worked in veterinary medicine for the past 9 years, and especially enjoys forming friendships with clients and getting to know their pets. Courtney lives with her fiance and their two dogs, Cecil and Cocoa.

Sabrina

Sabrina moved to Virginia from New York at 4 years old. She has five pets at home - a dog (Rex), two cats (Moonbeam and New York), and two snakes (Pita and Saturn). In her free time she loves drawing and reading. Her favorite tasks at KVVH are assisting in surgery and snuggling with patients, and she is especially skilled at befriending nervous dogs.

Bradley

Bradley was born in North Carolina and moved to Roanoke as a child. He worked at the Roanoke Valley SPCA as a kennel assistant and adoption coordinator before becoming a veterinary assistant in 2019. Bradley has two cats, Basil and Alfredo. He enjoys collecting records, movies, and bourbon.

Diana

Diana was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. She spent 4 years in Blacksburg earning her Human Development degree, but quickly realized she wanted to work with animals. Her favorite dogs are Labrador Retrievers and Dachshunds. Diana enjoys working out, hiking with her chocolate lab, Cedrick, and traveling.

Pancake

Pancake came to Dr. Cordle's house as a foster with a large wound on his chest, but soon won over her oldest son, who talked the family into letting Pancake sleep in his bedroom every night. When KVVH opened soon after Pancake arrived, it seemed only natural to bring him on as the Clinic Cat. His favorite tasks include screaming at closed doors, begging for food, and drinking out of toilets. He also enjoys greeting clients at the front desk.
